PC won’t boot, Dram light

Hi,

I’ve a PC which won’t boot with 4 sticks of ram since adding my 3080. Was working fine when I had a 1660 super Gaming X, I removed that a month back and it’s stood until I popped the 3080 in today and I just get the Orange DRAM light until I remove the 2 sticks of ram furthest from CPU, tried all sticks in various configs so I can prove all ram is fine. It had XMP enabled I tried disabling that and still nothing, specs are below but I’m open to any suggestions right now.

Did you get updated Bios for your Mobo to stop the Beep, beep Beep some got on boot after fitting a 3000 series GPU or simply disable CSM?

Erm neither? To be fair I’m sure my internal speaker is unplugged so no beeps but I don’t know anything about this sorry, I’ll take a look see what I can find, appreciated the assistance

I take it that’s in the bios? Sorry I’m not mega clued up on bios so don’t play with it

Yes look in your Bios and manual (physical or pdf), may be under Boot Options but not always.

I do not think that will matter it only made annoying Beeps not failed to boot AFAIK.

Mite be worth Trying the 2nd gpu slot for the 3080 then try all the ram.

Switch to onboard graphics, see if the four sticks work ok like that.

Disabled CSM, made no difference,

Clear CMOS and/or take out the battery for a few minutes. Try again. Also tell us if you tried mickyflinn's suggestion in post #10.

I tried it with no GPU and same result so I assumed that would negate that (add to that I can’t use bottom one due to clearance).
