I've just received my RTX 3080 from a competitor.

Everything looks fine but I did notice the box doesn't have any film around it nor does it have a seal on the box openings like the FE editions do.

This might well be completely normal but I thought I'd just check with others.

Thanks in advance.

My TRIO X 3070 I acquired from a popular fashion website came in a grey jiffy bag via royal mail, loads of people moaned about it on social media but they are packaged well enough in the retail boxes

My Asus 3080 box wasn't sealed with cellophane or anything, just little sticky tabs, but arrived in a Asus cardboard box sealed with Asus tape. So I was fairly certain nobody had been in it. :)

Hmm, depends where you get em from. Wouldn't want a card that has been mining:)

In my opinion I would rather have a card that has had a power limit and had stable volts/temps as opposed to someone playing with the sliders in MSI Afterburner trying to max a card in Cyberpunk with spikes in load/temps. You make your choice!

also those plastic wrappings are all single use plastic. the less we use the better.

less packaging the better. some of the cards still come with LOADS of foam stuff which are non-recyclable and made out of hydrocarbons (oil derivatives) which can easily be replaced with paper spacers made out of recycled paper.
