Yeh they aren't for everyone, I think I really started to understand them after watching a few YouTubers playing them smarter than I did.

Understanding the synergies and the crazy interactions is really cool. Enter the Gungeon has some awesome gameplay, it's a really solid game and some of the weapons in it are fantastic.
 
I put hundreds of hours in Issac, never finished it mind. I also enjoyed Rogue Legacy and undermine but I'm done with those games now,
 
Same. Isaac was brilliant for a while and I've liked a few others but the repetition is something I can do without now. Also I was pretty terrible at Gungeon so dropped it pretty quickly.
 
This coil whine thing is all a bit weird!

Played the division 2 a fair bit and the console seems quiet. Hit another game that's a bit more 'intense' and you can hear the coil whine kick in if the rooms quiet enough.

Just a weird buzzing that instantly stops as soon as you quit the game and go back to the main menu/dashboard.

Bizarre. Mainly have headphones on so I've never really noticed it. Fair few kicking up a fuss on twitter etc
 
I think a lot of the fuss is made by people who don't understand that unless something uses totally passive cooling then there will be some sort of noise.

I know what you mean.

It'd audible and a little frustrating, seeing as the Xbox doesn't have these issues.

All consoles suffer too, just some are worse than others

I don't have coil whine on my ps5 and the x didn't have it. Both fans are audible, I think the x was a bit quieter but neither are loud at all thankfully.
 
Nothing like that no, just fan noise. That would drive me crazy. Playing PS5 and 4 games is the same if it's demon's souls, division 2 or a ps2 game.

Tell a lie, went and put my ear right up to the vent and can hear it just. Inaudible from 30cm away.

Yeah the PS4 Pro in had was the newer 7216B and that was still loud.

Buzzing is the same for me. Different sounds in different games. Not sure what or why that would be.

Is it coil whine, or just fan related?

I think it’s coil whine. Because the pitch of the buzz changes when scenes change in game.

When I load BL3 and get to the main menu, the ps5 is buzzing. But the buzzing stops momentarily when the game micro freezes, as the game applies the hot fix patch. It’s hard to explain but if you’ve loaded the game up you’ll know what I mean.

Yeah I know exactly what you mean. The minute you close the game it instantly stops.

Just bizarre how different games give different results
 
Well, GAME screwed up

I bought a bundle with an extra controller, instead of the extra controller. I got Miles Morales for the PS5, I already got his game and don't need an extra copy.

I haven't even set up the PS5 as I don't know if GAME are going to stupid enough to want the whole bundle back. Ideally, I just want to send the game back and get my controller. I sent an email to CS as they don't have a number or live chat to call. They responded wanting more information. Now I'm not sure if they're going to not reply until Monday :(
