I'm thinking of replacing my old patio doors for some new modern french doors. Anyone got an idea on price fitted for size 2405mm wide by 2050mm high?

DIY or tradesman fitted? uPvc or wood? Hardwood or softwood? so many things you haven't told it's impossible to say, but, you should always specify laminated glass to minimise the chance of a break in.

Just looked at what I paid, fitted, in July 2019 for our upvc french doors.

“Anthracite Grey Open out french door - Dining room - 2370mm w x 2200mm h”

150mm cill
Double handles
Clear Toughened Low E glass
Excludes cost of brickwork removal below existing window.

Anthracite grey hinges and handles.

£ 1,455.00”

hope that helps.

We have just had ours done, quotes we’re all coming in at between £1200 and £1600 supply and fit. We then found a local guy who said he could do it for £850 I was dubious as to what to expect but I wasn’t paying up front so said go ahead...

He’s done a great job and I’m very happy with them

£800-900 is about right if you just get a fitter in and not a big company. £1200-1400+ if no doors there in the first place.

Cutting out the middle man is the way to go. My in-law offer Half's the price that the big firms quote. It's crazy how much they make

It's to replace some old 20 year+ sliding patio doors and they are to fit the exact same space so no walls need knocking down or built up. They are pretty big so will need a panel of glass either side of the actual doors.

Planning on just looking for local installers, not any of the big firms.

If it's a round about £1000 then that's a good price!
