Haha i know. But he just transferred 450 into my account i never once mentioned a price. I originally told him to borrow it as i could wait as id just bought a 6800XT and im always on Valheim. hes more than happy as he's a Destiny 2 nut. I got a t-shirt with this Xbox though lol.
 
Still nothing from Game regarding my series x that was supposed to be in packing on the 23rd. Wonder if they over sold there shipment..... might buy hades for the switch to put me on.
 
Just got a text my sx is ready to pickup. Wasn't expecting until Tuesday. Cba to go out though so I'll get it tomorrow. Even though it's a 2 minute drive.

Yeah I'm lazy today. I remembered I got to take an amazon return to garage as well so I'm slowly getting my **** together. My new meds making me feel sick and tired so it might actually help.
Plus you helped me feel ashamed so you can put that down as a good deed for today :)

@CaptainRAVE is my only xbox friend, true story. I mean I don't play online games much, I just like to see what people are playing.

Oh god no it's fine. The laziness isn't directly tied to the meds, I meant I'd feel better for going out. Back now anyway. I'll add you on when I'm set up :)
 
Picked up my sx last night, awesome bit of kit, silent and quick. Luckily my 3TB external drive was switched from my one x with no problems. Will definitely be needing to get the expansion card but can't stomach paying £200 odd for it just yet.
 
Right I am convinced the controller on the first SX I had was faulty. This one isn't sharp like the first one. I'm talking about the lines on the back where it looks like the case joins together. This one is flush so I don't feel it.

Most definitely had mine since late December and it's been flush and not sharp since day one probably got one with a QC problem.

Yeah seems it. Dpad just as annoyingly loud as I remember :) using a wired one but the lack of share button may annoy me do I might use it.

Am I getting this right, if and game is Series X enhanced that means it's had a resolution boost, FPS or takes advantage of the storage speed but a game like Skyrim which although has been patched 4K and 60fps isn't necessarily enhanced because of something I can't work out.

Took advantage of an Argos gift card I had (and completely forgot about until my wife reminded me..) and ordered a Series S for delivery tomorrow.

Will be setting it up upstairs via capture card into a 1080p monitor. Will be interesting to compare against the series X in the same games.

On that note, I presume I can take my external game drive and move it between consoles to avoid having to re-download the games again? From memory this is correct but it isn't something I could realistically test (before I receive it and test myself of course).

Has anyone had issues with their usb c charge and play kit? Mine is no longer charging the battery. It'll work when plugged into the series X but the battery remains at critical power. So I have to use regular old batteries. Only had it about a month...

The dpad is shocking, I love the new Tetris but it's so loud I don't want to play it on Xbox as it's all on the dpad.
 
Love the ability to install games from the store even if you don't own them. I've downloaded Outriders in anticipation of next week, will just probably need to install a patch for it to be ready on release.
