I've followed the instructions here but not been able to get it to work on my Rift S.

As long as you have Minecraft, you can download the Minecraft VR app from the Oculus store for free.

Have you tried that?

Last time I tried this was with the Java version and a patch.

Yeah, tried that. Game loads then crashes after telling me to make sure I've updated to some old windows version

Only works on windows 10 edition AFAIK

My brother had a similar issue and I couldn't remember which video actually solved the problem.
