i changed over last month from a palit 3080 to a gigabyte 3080 from OC. I had to pay the extra fees though since the gigabyte card was £350 more than the palit one. May be worthwhile to downgrade to a 3070 they may have stock I’m not sure, since 3080 queue is worse than the 3070 queue. 3070 is still a great card, only reason I bought a 3080 is because my monitor is 4K 144hz so it would make sense for me to get a 3080, but for you I assume you have a 1440p 144hz or something like that in which a 3070 May be worth considering. It doesn’t hurt to ask OC via email, and if they don’t have any 3070’s then oh well. You don’t ask, you don’t get.

Yes i am1440P 144Hz so a 3070 is good enough i only really ordered the 3080 as price was good compared to last gen and decided to treat myself, my nephew ordered a 3070 on launch and had it upgraded and delivered back in early January from here looking back he made a good choice.

yeh u don’t need a 3080, you’ll get by with a 3070 just fine. Just contact them through email and ask them if you can downgrade to a 3070. That’s what I did for my 3080. Since your 103 in the queue and the speed they’re getting GPU’s in it won’t look like you’ll get one until next year at this rate. A 3070 is more worthwhile for you and they may have stock if you ask

Reading through this thread just now it's hard to believe there's pre order buyers from last September still waiting for their cards. I'd give up now if I was on those pre order lists. No retailer is going to sell at September 2020 rrp prices if these cards are selling out at a grand more.

With thanks to Overclockers I received my card on Saturday, ordered a TUF 3080 OC back on 02 Oct. It will kind of feel odd not having to look for updates anymore.

Thank you ScottiB and Gibbo for all your dilligent work on this and keeping us all updated, I've really valued your commitment over the last 6 months. I hope those of you who have ordered cards and are still waiting get a break soon, we've all been through enough with these shortages.

probably got none left. i think i got the last one and if not they probably just gave the spare ones to others with gigabyte orders. i got mine last month so there is probably no stock left. i paid £1099.99 but it was worth it for sure. the card i got is the 3080 gigabyte vision. looks super nice in my pc. probably best bet is to wait or downgrade to a 3070. they may have 3070's available if you ask. the 3080's queue seems to be getting worse and worse, slower and slower

Having to pay £100 more for a 3070 instead of a 3080 eagle I feel like I’m being mugged, but figured eagles won’t land and my 1060 if getting a bit hit and miss nowadays.
