*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

My Ventus was picked for me back in February and then accidentally given to another customer. There has to be something you guys can do to make up for the error?
dream on! it was obviously a genuine mistake, what do you want, blood, cause a quicker route to a gfx card is not forthcoming! they don't have any! I feel for you but you've waited this long, just hang on in there as I wouldn't be surprised if we all get cancelled, sincerely hope not but the situation is dire! :p

The later. The cards didn't arrive. We reported this to the supplier and today they let us know that their stock check was correct so they must have gone missing in transit.
We've had four people searching our side with no luck. Sorry.

Yowzers! We have a small stores for our own stock and while the odd object gets lost, most of our items are not desirable to people outside the industry, but that's like 7K-10K of very desirable GPUs going walkies!

A mate had an empty NVMe box arrive from Amazon previously, so the temptation for the light-fingered courier is very high...

So @ScottiB @Gibbo this was stated a week ago

Due next week:
3x Asus 3080 TUF
5x Asus 3080 TUF OC
5x EVGA 3080 XC3 Black

and now Scottib is saying it was a typo so why would gibbo type x3 ASUS 3080 Tuf and then on the following line type x5 asus 3080 Tuf OC?

This doesn’t seem like a typo to me (I’m 4th in the que for a 3080 Tuf oc) so as you can imagine I was hoping for the card this week as that’s what gibbo said was coming in. Have these cards gone missing or perhaps into a pre build system as this is what it feels like.

We have had 0 updates this week not even a no updates today. And after a 7 month wait and with the 3080TI right around the corner I’m hoping that we don’t get a message like what all the people in the Msi gaming x trio got...

After 7 months to the day, I am finally out of the race. I bow out at 391 in the queue for the Gigabyte Eagle OC.

I contacted customer services by webnote and got my card downgraded to a 3070 at the cost of £110 being the difference between the price paid for my 3080 order and the cost of the 3070 card now.

In all likelihood there aren’t going to be any Eagles landing and not any time soon if they do eventually land before they are declared EOL.

Thanks to @Gibbo and @ScottiB for everything they have said and done to date and I hope everyone that is still waiting gets their stuff as soon as physically possible, stay strong.

I’m out! Peace!

i done same downgraded from non oc 3080 tuf was at 103 gone for 3070 tuf and payed extra for the privilege, they did have a 3080 but it was a twin fan model that i think is not enough cooling, time will tell if i gave up too soon ans stock starts arriving again.

Due next week:
3x Asus 3080 TUF
5x Asus 3080 TUF OC
5x EVGA 3080 XC3 Black

a double typo?

if so thats ****** in my cereal :p
one typo. It was 3x Asus 3080 TUF followed the next day by 5x Asus 3080 TUF

Sorry but I'm getting sick of the implications. I actually got some system allocation of the non OC on a separate, third purchase order. The supplier in question communicates with Gibbo and myself separately.

yeah if anything im guessing you have been usiong SI stock for regular orders cause ive been going down the queue sometimes faster than i would expect from relevant deliveries

it's annoying and suspicious for sure. Although it's not completely impossible to believe when you think that they are delivered on mixed pallets, often numerous pallets with tens, even hundreds of boxes. A couple of boxes falling off the top of a pallet isn't beyond comprehension.

yes, just today I gave Gibbo half of my Strix allocation, it's not a boat load but every little helps (sorry Tesco ;)). I don't always tell him :p

Damn hopefully the cards show up soon and dont stay lost in transit

Well that's weird! I too had an nvme empty box delivered to myself about two months ago! a 980 pro 1tb, someone in the supply/delivery chain for amazon obviously likes nvme's I got mine the second time round so the pilferers are very selective! hope your mate got his sorted.

Well my wait is over, ASUS TUF non-oc 3080 arrived early this afternoon and is working like a charm, been a long 7 month wait. For reference I started off at 372 in queue having ordered at 17.15 on September the 17th, good luck to those just behind me in the queue!

7 months, thats madness! Glad you are sorted :). Vbios update needed for resize bar?

Well, that's unexpectedly nice news - if you were only thinking of the bottom line it'd have been the other way around! ;)

In regards to the palletised delveries - aren't they shrink wrapping them onto the pallets to stop stuff 'falling off'? There's no real excuses for poorly attaching such high value items to a pallet and cling film costs bugger all and takes like 30s to wrap a pallet. You might want to get some CCTV looking into the backs of the delivery vehicles in case the 'surplus' items are just slid back in...

Yeah, that one was clearly nicked at the Amazon warehouse - NVMe box was slit open through the security tape seal and he only found out when he opened the sealed delivery bag, so wasn't the courier then. :o

So Eight 3080 TUF cards, thats better than 3 or the 5, good news but where are they??.
