Trading the stockmarket (NO Referrals)

I see palantir took another dump, guess the ceo sold more shares.

No its the hedgies shorting it to oblivion, theres no reason for it to fall like this. Seems to have a $20 support line and those guys can only short so much before it bounces back.

but for me i see some beautiful dips to buy into but might wait a few days.

Those algorithms are at work again.

A engine manufacturer, a Vaccine producer and a shop which sells games are all mirroring each other.

Seems CRSR absolutely crushed earnings estimates.

"On a year-over-year basis, Corsair earnings rocketed 346% while sales jumped 72%."

Market Cap is just $3bn vs the $2bn revenue. P/E ratio is just under 29.

The stock price is 4% down, Logitech on the other hand is slightly up.

You seem to bring this up regularly....there's nothing nefarious at work here, or just algo traders. Market moves are contagious for many reasons that are quite easy to understand.

I don't think you will be down too much I'm in at 23.7 but I'm predicting it will bounce up and down for most of May. Same with NIO.

Corsair looks an interesting one.

Will do some research on this one.

Why has the price gone down on this news?!

It's because it was priced in already and now the market is pricing in the bad news that CRSR will announce in 3 weeks time
Exactly. Prices don't go up and down based on results. They go up and down based on whether those results were in line with expectations and the likelihood of future events.

companies can exceed expectations from analysts and still go down lol
I've seen some youtubers analysing stocks and they show the percent of shares for a ticker that are at a profit but I guess you need lvl2/3 data to see it
once over 50% of shares are in profit I guess there's a big risk of people cashing out around an earnings date

Because the market expected more.

The price went down because the entire market went down. The Nasdaq was down over 2% yesterday with tech shares really suffering. APPL for instance was down a few percent.

CRSR is now up nearly 7% so regained what it lost yesterday and had added to it.

Bought in this morning first thing. Corsair up 10% today so thanks for posting :p

Still think this is massively undervalued.

Bought into Corsair last night currently up 11%

and another cracking day for Kodal. Currently holding 2.5 million shares and ticking up nicely this week so far definitely one that still has legs though just waiting on their mining
