At least we had 20 minutes from when our first goal went in rather than 10 — it was still ridiculous mind.

I’ll never forget it. I couldn’t watch the game but I saw the half-time result so wrote the match off completely. Later on I was in the pub and some of my friends said “Newcastle did well today”. I thought they were being sarcastic and, being half-cut, firmly refused to believe them when they said we’d pulled it back.
