Never played a R&C game before, but it does look very good.

Not too bad then. My brother in law's console has some weird power issue. and he's hoping to get it sorted before time off work in June. Cheers!
Well PlayStation support are now saying, look we took it in for repair and returned with no fault found. You've sent us YouTube videos which we reviewed and class the console as normal operation.
They said I can send it in again but no guarantee it'll be fixed and possible return with no fault found again.
It's forever gonna bug me it's just the sound I cannot unhear.
Maybe just keep using it over the next year and hopefully it gets a lot worse and to the point the repair centre will change the fan.

I been trying since February, dont really want/need one yet but I figured I would rather have one boxed ready to go when I have FF16 then then try to get one, but no luck, getting a 3080 was a doddle compared to this.
Just dont understand why is no pre order system.
Also restocking at 4am is just catering for bots, what kind of policy is that?

I have only played one disc game so far on my PS5, Miles Morales (PS4 disc). I have this issue where most of the time if I switch the PS5 on and the disc is already inside it fails to recognise the disc and I have to eject and put it back in once PS5 has loaded up. Anyone else get this problem? I don't think its the disc otherwise it would not pick it up even after an eject?
Have you tried removing the fan and refitting it ? You can do it only removing the side panels.
Yesterday I was all set to walk into CEX and trade it in for cash then just pick another up at some point and hope that unit sounds better.
Although this morning think I'm gonna attempt removing the fan and use some O rings like I've seen in YouTube.

Rubbish that you’re having to do it, although I’m sure you’ll get use from those tools in future, and at least this will give you some peace of mind that you’ve done what you can with the console.
If this doesn’t sort it, then you clearly have a faulty fan. Maybe, armed with that info, you can go back to Sony again…

Not sure they were actually gone that quick, the site is just completely broken like the india takeaway.
I was looping between add to basket then a page telling me removed from basket as none in stock then adding it again, after about 10 minutes low in stock appeared on he add to bag button, but still kept vanishing from basket and now since 1 minute ago is all gone.
These retailers all with broken websites is a joke. They got caching issues.

Wish I wasn't so picky but it's just not right. My Series X in the same position on the desk or living room is completely silent you just cannot hear it from the first time I turned it on.
Just got a bad PS5 unfortunately least I didn't pay scalper prices. Still a great console and very happy with it.
