why are people so desperate to get a PS5 their is no games and most of the so called 4k games are using dynamic resolution so your not even getting true 4K its downscaled the GPU in it is about as powerful as a 2070 super.

No games ? We’ve just had returnal release, and ratchet and clank isn’t far off. We’ve also had Spider-Man a few months back, and the remastered demons souls. Plenty new stuff to play.

edit. Forgot sackboy, too. I’m probably forgetting some others also

not to mention the back catalogue too

Yep. Theres 3 different fans being used and this sounds like the one that described as a UFO. Can't remember the differences between the three, not sure if it's acoustics or blades etc.

Sure there's a big article/thread somewhere

I think it may be production issue, probably not balanced correctly. Or the mould they were processed from was faulty.

As its a big step up from the PS4. With many of the great PS4 games now running at higher resolutions and also at much high frame rates. Not to mention the new console is super quiet compared to the jet engine that is the PS4/Pro. Super fast loading times etc.

Are you just upset because you don't have one?

A 2070 Super is like £800 on eBay! Lol

a PS5 is half the price, bargain!

Money isn’t everything, in fact, money is just a means to an end. But I did get my name on a guitar pedal for £350 which sells for £1500+ used already! It’s not even in the shops outside of Japan yet! You win some, you lose some.
 
I managed to get in the GAME pre-order queue the other day. I waited over an hour, then the message popped up that all their stock was gone.

I'm surprised Amazon don't have more stock.
 
We'll tried the rubber O rings today.

Made absolutely no difference.

Might try again tomorrow altering the screw tightness on the fan mounting while it's running to see if that affects it.

Just think it's the fan itself at this point. Wish I could just buy the best fan online as a part and install it.

Then next week just send it back to Sony again with a stronger message to change the fan please.

All this to play Warzone with Crossplay disabled with my mates. Wish they had Xbox. Although am enjoying sider man miles Morales. God of war replay next at 60fps.
 
It wouldn’t be a warranty repair, but you could take the fan out before you send it off, and they’ll have to put a new one in? Hopefully the better fan.

edit - would be a total gamble, and you’d probably end up paying. :p

No i just don't get the hype unless they start releasing some good exclusives its not worth it to buy one at the moment you might as well leave it a year for some good games to come out.
