Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

New covers for the pillows on my new window seat:

Now I can stare at people outside all day long in comfort.

What made you go for the BGE? I'm torn between that and the Kamado Joe at the moment.
Wouldn't want to be without the divide and conquer system and air lift hinge on my KJ classic 2.

The gasket, ash cleaning system and top vent are also really good.

Amazfit Neo. Took a punt as it was only 16 quid. Quite impressed.

Main features are it heart rate monitoring, sleep tracker and step counter. I think it also has some notifications for calls, messages etc but very limited.

Do they have a different name? I mention it because we had a LOT of red tiles on the side of our house that we painted recently. Looks a lot better IMO. Everyone has different tastes though, of course (rendering happening next week):

Sorry to take this off topic slightly, but very nice house!

Did you paint the wall tiles in situ or take them off first? Are you not concerned with the masonry paint flaking? Could do the same with my recent purchase  - I like the colour although wonder if i should /could just get new wall tiles put in...

New Windows are the first requirement regardless!

Thanks man. We painted them in-situ, taking them off would have been a MASSIVE job and the finish is spot-on as it is. We had some local painters do it who have done this quite a few times before and they assure us it won't flake. Time will tell I guess.

Relatively cheap job considering how massively it has transformed the look of the house.

Ah cool, any idea what type of paint they used and was it sprayed or brushed?

As you can see from above I have only a very small section which would need doing, so budget would necessitate that I do it myself :D

Edit : I realise it would probably clash with my roof so would need to do both . Probably one to put on the back burner until I have the money to sort the internals out first..

Johnstones Masonry Paint and it was brushed. Took them 2 days.

An odd place for a seat. Looks very close to the bed and blocks the bedside draws.

Nope, the drawers still fully open. It makes dressing my lower body easier being able to sit on either and put my feet up.

Its also got some ottoman storage.

aren't yellow window seats a bit chavvy?

Better to spend money on painting bathroom?

Its actually ochre and looks green in brighter light, actually my second favourite colour after the chartreuse pillow covers.

Not gonna waste any money on my bathroom until I've saved enough money to get everything ripped out and redo the whole room.
