*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

All new models are LHR and LHR will be on all cards 3080Ti and below, the current models will be replaced with LHR designated models, so for a time their might be two version of one card, but they will come with different model codes and different EANs and we will also list them as LHR to save any confusion.

Only 3090's will remain as a full fat card so to speak. We are informed LHR cards perform identical to the none LHR models in gaming and these cards are designed for gamers, not mining.

Must be a massive ball ache that is for sure! I know both Scotti and Gibbo are paid to do a job but having to interact with the constant whining and know it all folk I've seen in this forum would make me wanna give up and go stack shelves in Tesco. I can only imagine all the crap that goes on in webnotes and phone calls.

I honestly think they and others within the company are trying to do the best by us all but there is only so much they can reveal and take the hit for. When I eventually get either my pre ordered Inno3d 3080 x4 or another card. I'm going to send them both a 6 pack of beer (Corona) just for being good lads!
 
Just to reiterate
by the end of this month, or July we would hope to be in a position to have some options available
Please don't jam the phone lines expecting to be able to buy/upgrade your order to 3080Ti. We will not be offering them for sale via the phone.

I hope that we will be able to give many of those customers who are waiting an opportunity to buy a Ti or an LHR 3080, but we'll probably have to treat them as new orders and make use of the cancellation form that we've been successfully using since this all began.

This is the most frustrating part because, no doubt, we get the blame when customers are unhappy with the pricing of the after-market cards
currently our landed cost are above the MSRP's even on the cheapest AIB cards
 
I was 30th 2 weeks ago, and then I was 15th last week. I'm not quite sure why we weren't getting any updates, but this is great news for sure! What about you, where are you in the queue?

Emails tend to not go out on the friday preceding a bank holiday monday (UK). Why that is is beyond me but it is consistent behaviour. I'd say 'just wait until this Friday' and then it hit me that that is no longer relevant for you :cry:

With total sincerity, community managers and customer service reps are unsung heroes because they usually have to take the brunt of stuff that's A: routinely not their decision, either from higher-ups in the same company or further up the supply chain and / or B: just plain cruel. I don't trust anyone who gets abusive on the phone with customer service.

So by sounds of it we won't end up being booted from our queues due to the LHR variant of our orders?
Sorry to quench any optimism but the only LHR cards that we've had information about so far are 3060 "V2" and nobody has confirmed whether or not "V1" will be discontinued, so it's still too early to say what's going to happen. What you should read into earlier comments is that we are looking at what options are available in case the cards that were back ordered are discontinued.

I'm sure I speak for the vast majority on this forum when I say that both @Gibbo & @ScottiB have done & continue to do a brilliant job under very extreme & unusual circumstances. Having to deal with us, the baying mob, is no mean feat either. Keep up the good work fellas & keep the updates coming as & when you get them. ;)

Fully agree with this, I hope the powers that be at OCUK have some kind of payrise / bonus lined up for you guys.
