Is there a way to give overclocker affiliates (streamers) access to the discount code? I mean, I do advertise overclockers and push people to the website to purchase their goods. I don't want to give the code out, I just want to upgrade my own graphics card! That or I can start endlessly and pointlessly replying to posts on the forum to improve my number of posts. Seems a bit wasteful and pointless

@Gibbo

that's 2...

3... (Hopefully you see my point...)

This is crazy. I can't believe I'm not eligible to buy a single graphics card from OC after spending years purchasing from them previously because I don't enjoy sitting in a forum typing messages... Great idea to stop scalpers etc but at least let people prove they are purchasing for a legit reason.

How would people prove they're purchasing it for a "legit reason"? Say if you were to get everyone that purchased it to send a photo of it a month down the line from purchase, what will you do if they don't? Maybe they missed the email (or whatever way of communication used) telling them to submit a photo? Not to mention I'm sure that would involve a fair amount of manpower for something that realistically wouldn't stop the scalping of the sold product

Cry more.

To be fair, in the 9 years you've been here you'd have had access to the MM by posting just twice or three times per week.

There's a wide range of sub-forums to discuss many things without ANY spamming at all.

The code are a reward to the community and you need to be a part of that in some way, not just lurking.

but in the 9 years I've been here I've never posted as i've never had the need to post. I'm no expert at helping people with their equipment so I've never felt the need to scroll through the forum aimlessly yet that doesn't mean I haven't spent £1000's with OC. Why does that mean I shouldn't be eligible to buy a graphics card at MRSP from OC?

Also...based upon all the posts above I'm pretty sure this community is fairly Toxic. Why would I want to be apart of something where people feel the need to start posting stuff like:

My point was that you DON'T have to post just in the pc sections as there are plenty of other places you could have contributed (you don;t have to scroll aimlessly if you enjoy say food, football or movies - there are plenty of active threads on these topics alone). You haven't contributed and that's entirely up to you. However, you can't then complain that the forums haven't given you anything back when you've not put the effort in yourself, this is a two way street.

In regards to MSRP, that's a lie unless you are selling an FE on behalf on nvidia.
