Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

A project has been getting a little more serious so time to move to a dev board that's go an MCU with some meat

Good stuff! I had an STM32-F4-Discovery kit at uni that was just bursting with features. Barely used any of them TBH, it was just nice to have them integrated.

Had to look that up:

"Dutasteride, sold under the brand name Avodart among others, is a medication primarily used to treat the symptoms of an enlarged prostate. A few months may be required before benefits occur. It is also used for scalp hair loss in men and as a part of hormone therapy in transgender women. It is taken orally."

Not sure what you're taking it for! But good luck!
For hair loss (off label) and thanks. 3 months of finasteride has done this (cut my hair to same length as original yesterday, just for fairer comparison):

...now I'm going to ramp it up and nuke my DHT levels to that of a female baby.

Yep, now that I know it all works I'll be making a panel that drops in. Need a flap vent as well.

Sash windows are even better once you actually fix all the sashes/weights! Housemate trapped 8 fingers the year I moved in :D
Haha yeah... home buyers report condemned all of them and proposed replacement. Spent the first few months working through them all with new spiral balancers/sand back to wood/repaint. Called up for a discount when I saw the price of all the units I needed and the lady said they came in pairs so that halved the bill instantly :D

I'll be using quite a few. CAN, CRC, RNG, ADCs, Timers for input capture and output scheduling.

It hasn't been my first foray into embedded development as it's something I've done at work with Renesas SH stuff but that's reverse engineering and patching based. Having a debugger to work with is a joy

Sonos Arc in the cardboard box, honest! (I'd better open it to check lol)

First new TV in about 7 years :D

After I said I wasnt going to buy a "stupidly expensive headphone cable" to go with my new cans...............I got this

A Kimber Kable Axios

Now do a blind test and compare. (Get someone to swap out the cables for you)

I may well do that once I have swallowed some of the snake oil :)

Thing is the cans only came with a stupid 1.2m cable so I needed a 2m cable anyway and this ended up not being too much more money than the decent cable I was looking at buying anyway so why not.

Would never have paid the £695 they are new for one, never mind some in the range cost £3,000 :O

I have a pair of VDH First Ultimate IC but never got as far as upgrading my cables for my headphones, these days I use AirPods more than anything else so no point.

I use my headphones a lot when on my PC and use airbuds when out and about.

I have a bit of a headphone obsession as now own 5 pairs. I really need a clearout.

5 is okay…

I have Hd600, HD580, Sony 7506, Senn Momentum. I gave a pair to @Phate (the ones you see on TV with football pundits, and used by DJs), and threw away a pair of Senn HD495 as they fell apart.

And AirPodses. So only 4 pairs of HEADphones, and only the Sennheisers are consider audio grade.

Yes https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/posts/34867559 and I agree it's very short. I assume it's partly intentional in that the longer the hose the harder it is for the machine to expel the hit air.

Could also be for packaging and cost reasons. But anyway, a few Screwfix reviews says that they'd extended the hose using a Manrose kit, something I'm considering.
how loud is that unit ?
I've got another bigger unit but it is looooud...
