Been assembling my new system like most for months. Left the GPU on air for a couple months after i got it before dumping a water block and well been lazy also. Currently got Mayhems Blitz Part 2 going through both loops, CPU loop had had Mystic Fog in it, god that stuff leaves a mess. Hopefully 20 hours of using Blitz followed by 3 flushes will have it clean and i can put my XTR fluid in the loops. Case in a Lian Li V3000, will post a pic of the finished item tomorrow

Normal "issue" with coloured/solid coolant.
I would simply book the week off, strip all blocks and replace all tubing. But 110% OCD here.
Just make sure the radiators are 100% clean and no residues left behind, otherwise a potential headache.

****, I was going to get some mystic fog when my build was ready, how long did you run it for? Also can you let me know if it cleaned up ok? And did the mystic fog actually improve the rgb effect?

For me at least the Mystic Fog sucked, I did get it all out though. Ran Mayhems Blitz Part 2 for 24 hours solid then flushed the system 5 times for an hour each time. I had replaced all the tubing anyway so i expect that helped.

Maybe you should have posted this in the project logs section with some more info and plenty of pictures? Look forward to seeing it either way :D
I thought about it but just not that good at taking photos of each of the steps. Normally for me something will arrive , then i will rush to fit it and forget all about the pics. It is up and running now with the exception of teh light box, have had to order an extra cable for that. Once that arrives i will post a picture up. The XTR is very good looking coolant though, hopefully that will last a while

You sounds like me, so into it and excited forget about pics lol, like being 12 again lol

Look forward to some pics anyway

Go easy on me as i am no pro, still need to tidy some cables and have a blow around with the compressed air but here it is

This is the temps and clocks i am getting. GPU will boost to 1950Mhz although this pic does not show that
Ambient temp right now is 26.4

Go easy on you? Mate that looks nice, very clean n tidy build, nice pipework, looks really nice

CPU temp seems to be up quite high though, my 5950x doesn't even hit 60 with a cheap aio

Its idling at 35 but i have seen 80 at 100% load with all cores boosting to 4.6. I am still playing with my fan curves though so room for improvement
Cables at the bottom are triggering my OCD a little they are just so hard to hide away or make look neat

Idle seems ok but load does seem high to me, what radiator and fan configuration are you running for the CPU?

i checked out my bios and found that my PPT was at 500, dropped it to 200 and temp instantly came down for 80+ on load to 72 although it cost me 1000 point in R23. Upped it to 220 and now only missing 500 point in r23 with load temps at 76 degrees, My water temp in CPU loop is stable at 29 degrees

That does seem so high to me, like I say I'm under 60C with a cheap ID-Cooling 360 AIO

Is the block seated correctly on the cpu? What thermal compound did you use and how much?

Thermal grizzly and double checked my mount. Are you at stock or using PBO, what are your R23 scores, just wondering if you are pushing yours as hard? Done some looking around and seems there are plenty hotting 80+

Maybe I'm not pushing it as hard, I'll have to check everything and get back to you as I'm not completely sure, never had CPU's running that hot myself before even overclockers but to be honest I've been out the pc game for a while lol

I'll have a look/play and get back to you

No problem, when running r24 my cores average 4.6Ghz for comparison

Did you strip and clean the cpu block after the blitz ? I say this because the cpu block is basically a filter all on it's own and its always the first thing to fill with all manor of crud from the rest of the loop.

P.S Lovely build

Yep all clean, thank you. Been tinkering with water-cooling for years but this is the first build i feel really chuffed with
