Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

Well the first and most important reason is drivers can actually hear me on the road, 90% of drivers on the road aren’t looking for bikes but if they can hear me, they’re more likely to wait before moving out.

Secondly, It’s fun. :)

Well the Kobo Forma is more a comparison to the Oasis, this Libra is a cheaper version. So far I'm loving it, I can see my reading picking up from using this device, plus the fact it has integrated Overdrive, means I can borrow books from my local library and they go straight to the device. I was going to try wait out to see if Kobo did a refresh, but they have only announced the new Kobo Elipsa so far, which you may also consider. It's more expensive with the added note taking, but I think lacks the physical buttons.

People hearing you before seeing you, entirely fair and I get that! Please don't do what the moron somewhere on the estate does and over rev the bike every morning, at 5am, as he goes off to wherever he's going.

I start work early (6am) so if I do use the bike, I push it away from my house and only start it to ride away, I have a very good relationship with my neighbours so wouldn’t do anything to upset them. :)

It's not even the starting up the bike and leaving, it's the deliberately going down the street holding higher revs than needed :P. You're clearly decent enough to at least wait to get to a main road :D.

Quad bikes that sound like a jet engine annoy the hell out of me, normally ridden by some idiot with no thought for other motorists.
 
As a rider the exhaust safety thing is in my view a load of waffle. Just admit you want a noisier exhaust.

The noise increase to the car you want to take notice ie in front of you is minimal as your exhaust is facing the other way and you’re heading towards them.

Plus you just make yourself a target for the police.
 
Bet the incidents of electric motorcycle riders are going to be through the roof given they can't have a massive fart cannon exhaust to warn people of their presence.
