What Corrado do you have sir?

My other half and I both had Valvers. Mine was a 90 1.8 16v, and hers a 92 2.0 16v. Great cars, lots of fun memories.

Very nice indeed. That's not something I expected to see posted on here. Are you planning to come to the CCGB National Day at Brooklands?

Thanks and good eyes! His'n'hers 'Rados - nice! Mine's a 94 vr that I've owned since 2004 It's my daily drive. She's in for a suspension rebuild later this year with a full respray pencilled in for next year (nearside front wing needs some attention, as does the under-sill just in front of the rear nearside wheel and the sill under the driver's door). Just coming up to 170k - 100k of which are mine! Had a complete head/top end rebuild in 2019 so the engine is good for a while yet.
My job takes up most weekends, so won't be at that event, although it sounds good. You getting yours back on the road Hades?

You getting yours back on the road Hades?
Yes. Today I booked it in for an MOT mid July. I've not driven it for a year and a half, apart from occasionally starting it, so I'm looking forward to driving it again. Mine is also a 1994 VR6 which I've owned since 2011. I have a refurbished Vege head in the garage but would like to get the bottom end rebuilt eventually (no urgency - chains have been done and the engine is fine but just a little noisy when cold). It's in OK condition but far from a showroom example, although I did managed to get some electric cloth recaros, audioscape door pods and one of the last new-old-stock leather VR steering wheels for it a few years ago. I was pleasantly surprised how prices have started creeping up too.

Brooklands is 15 mins from me so that's why I'm getting it back on the road.

Upgraded the sim rig to a proper 80/20 rig, bought an ultrawide as well and it’s pretty crazy how much of a difference it makes.

Sim-lab also make these cool cable clips that go in to the aluminium profile which you can loop cable ties through (and I noticed after taking this pic I forgot to cut the excess off one)

Just arrived so it needs to flatten a bit...but ta-da! :o

I do seriously love the pokies and all things nostalgic but… really not sure about that one :o :p

The only way I can see that working is either a child’s bedroom or in a (hard to pull off) deliberately ridiculous man cave.

Does remind me when I bought my first house and bought all of these decorative things and frames etc that I thought looked awesome. Put them all together in the room and together they looked absolutely awful!! Making things look tasteful does require a lot of thought and isn’t as simple as assembling shiny/cool things in a room.

Thought I'd try this out (peg board). Unfortunately none of the gimmick things that attach to it are particularly useful for anything I need, so there you go :p
