We buy lots of things for other people but usually not clothing for the missus. This tends to be a thread things you buy that other men (being a male-dominated forum) find interesting, from a screwdriver to phone to TV to retro games. Nobody posts their lunch here or the train ticket because it's mundane and irrelevant to other people.

It's like an unwritten rule.

I mean keep posting what you bought, you do you. We still feel it's weird, we do we. How's that?

Not a bad day, quite nice in fact :). I am trying to think of a better word than pedantic* but couldn't but you do get what i mean on what i said?

Hence I said "written rule" and hence i said "you do you". I clearly said he doesn't need to stop, he is free to keep doing it.

And I am free to think it's weird, it's a bit voyeuristic, for lack of a better word.

*I find myself using brackets a lot these days because of the pedant aspect of the forum and this is explanation is longer so I thought I put in an asterisk. By pedantic i mean i knew people would bring up any tiny statistical, out of the ordinary things to illustrate a point when 99.999% of the time it doesn't happen, whilst i KNOW for certain that people have posted things like food (Pepsi or SE Asian drinks...more brackets within an asterisks just to cover my ass) or commuter pass etc, things like a sandwich, as i said, is mundane. It's fine to do it once but back to back posts of them is not normal. Hence, weird.

So if i ever say something in general, I almost always had to put in a bracket and fill in the 0.00001% to point out that i also am aware of that 0.00001% aspect in order to pre-empt a reply to tell me that i am aware of that 0.00001% to begin with.

That's what I mean by pedantic.

(I am also aware that I have done it too and I am trying very hard to do it less!) - I have to write that because i know someone else will tell me that i have done that!

Did you miss the one where he posted a picture of her in a nighty or something? And the one where he lied he had a Ferrari? Or the one where he lied that he had a Rolex?

The guy is a weird troll.
