What the hell is this warning light?

Looks like exhaust or emissions systems to me. It's intermittent, comes and goes with engine load/revs.

There is no mention of it in the manual and I can't find any reference to it on the web.

Vehicle is my parents' campervan based on a 2000 Peugeot Boxer petrol engined van.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

^ This. Some Peugeots from that era have Fiat electronic systems and that symbol is basically Fiat’s ECU warning light.

Yeah they are basically Ducatos - closest I can see on the relevant Ducato list is Particulate Trap Blocked but does a van that old even have such filter?

It might take a few tanks of using Redex to make a difference. If it's a dodgy injector it might foul the plug if you leave it to long.

It's petrol ;)

LOL missed that - I just assumed all vans like that would be diesel as we never run anything else :s

Bit weird the only symbol I can find in any of the manuals close to that is the diesel filter one guess it is just being used as a generic fuel/exhaust system fault.

In my experience sticking something like Redex through might make it run a bit nicer while that goes through probably just due to raising octane or cetane as applicable but if you want a longer term result you gotta run through like 3 bottles while keeping revs high which on an older vehicle is potentially just putting extra strain on something else which is nearing end of life :s

check to see if it has an odb port, you may be able to download the error code to zero in on the actual fault, a bluetooth obd reader is like 10quid on amazon and is good for reading and clearing errors on your phone (torque for android as an example)
