You know Usenet and listservs are still out there right? So is msn, dc++ IRC etc it’s more like the underground web but there’s apps bridging all this stuff now to make old into modern.

I honestly think it depends who you follow. I see very little toxic content on my twitter. Facebook is far worse imo.

Happens all the time. My daughters youtube account was banned when she posted a video of herself singing lol Thing is, there is no way of getting it back. You can't ring anyone as they all say it's not their department, and nobody reads the web forms you are supposed to fill it. Everything is all automated for accounts, so no chance of getting anything back. Very common these days.

I keep reporting a video on youtube that is showing 2 rottweilers attacking a stray dog. So far its not been removed.

These companies are selective on when they enforce the rules.

Same! animal cruelty is fine it seems. There was a dog fighting video on tictok which never got banned, despite it being illegal.

That hashtag was probably associated with something dodgy/bannable in the past and the bots are still trigger happy.

Search the hashtag on Twitter and you only get a few hits, two of which have the OP suspended.

I got finally perma banned from Twitter for calling Richard Branson a “Short ginger nonce”. It was my third strike, so I couldn’t really complain as I was basically using the platform to troll Blue Tick bellends.
