Perf / $£€ isn't good, but perf/watt seems to be pretty good beating the 6800

Looks like Wi1zzard hasn't reviewed the reference model yet (but has some scores for it, just not power consumption), so the TPU perf/watt figures are worse

People have been picking up 3060ti's readily for the same type of price they want for this :s.

AMD has really failed this generation with products in end users hands compared to Nvidia.

They have boycotted selling to the UK since Brexit yet other companies manage

AMD CBA partnering with a local retailer like Nvidia does. Instead they use a third party company who CBA,and apparently AMD CBA either. Also,I thought AMD won't be selling reference models of this GPU to DIY buyers??

It's not really that clear cut.

I went to buy a dishwasher direct from France and I'd have to pay and sort the VAT out this side lol.

Nvidia manages just fine,by partnering with a local retailer.

What's wrong with that? Fanatec do the same, the only downside is that you get charged a handling fee on top from the courier for processing vat.(£10-15)

Woah, did any other reviewers confirm that? I know the 5500 XT 4GB had this issue, but this looks much worse.
CB had it too but the headline of all was only 2%:

but 11% in Call of Duty BOCW which is the worst one I could find there.

So 0% to 11% but worse for min frames:

Despite all this, this would have made a good $250 card, or even a great $200 card.

Agreed, they could have easily undercut all of Nvidias 3000 series and made a killing but i feel this is down to greed and its backfiring. You can tell by how readily available the 6000 series cards are even though they're still stupid prices.

Its a sheer money grab from AMD. You saw what happened with Navi 10?? That had marketing materials with the RX680/RX690 naming, but when they realised with a bit of overvolting the RX5700XT could catch the RTX2070,they pushed it into a higher tier.

AMD is now doing the same, because they can position it in between the RTX3060 and RTX3060TI.

What a joke, can get a 3070 FE with change to spare for that!

Its quite clear AMD RTG does not care about mainstream DIY PC builders anymore - you want a mainstream AMD GPU,get a console. After all their CEO admitted they only want to target higher margin markets. Just make the mainstream awful,so if you are wedded to AMD you buy a higher end model.

Edit!!

Now it appears mainstream PC builders need to rely on Intel and Nvidia to bring sanity to the market. We are right screwed now!!:mad:

Yeah and with Nvidia AND Intels history.... we know its gonna be a **** storm for next gen release after releasing how much people are willing to overpay for gpu's and cpu's!
