No idea, I just went on Tripadvisor:That was a few years ago, are they still selling it at that price though?
£2.60 (and a cost of 0.15) would be a 94% profit margin.10-15p for the food so that's a 24x profit margin.

But there's no way the cost is 15p when you consider staff costs, rents, rates, insurance, cleaning, depreciation, furniture ...
beans on toast is not rubbish behave yourself.
i would not order it from a cafe though, probably no frills beans.
helps if you have very good bread and beans for sure, i put good cheese on top and 2 eggs sometimes with no cheese
cheese and eggs i canny do that, Heinze beans with nice white bread and lots of salted butter for me.
cant mix them, i did say 2 eggs with no cheese.
so either just beans, beans with cheese on top or beans with 2 eggs on top
ahhh got you, who would have thought that beans was such a favourite.
mostly only like the branston brand these days, quality has been slipping or decades i think. Or im just imagining things lol

True, but it's still a fixed cost that you need to consider in the price of your food. How can you work that out per meal though?
More beans does not mean more furniture.
