Decent USB-C for Oculus Quest 2?

Trying to help out a family member connect his Oculus Quest 2 to his PC.

Watching some guides saying he needs a USB-C to USB-C lead, but that it needs to be good quality to avoid any problems.

Can anyone recommend me a good 5m+ cable?

It can be a USB A to USB C. Depends on what you've got on your motherboard. What's his system?

Also, does he have a half decent wifi setup? Might be easier to just use airlink. Certainly nice to be able to play without wires if you can!

PCVR games i assume, although virtual desktop will do.

You need really kick ass WiFi to run pcvr wireless on the quest. For many people using a usb cable will give a much better result

WiFi is great if you can use it however. Amazes me really just a few years ago it was a £300 add-on to use pcvr wireless now it's a free over the air update

I'm 90% of the time happy with WiFi 5, moving house next month and isp provide a hub with WiFi 6, op's family member would be better off buying a WiFi 6 box, then have a cable plugged in, wireless is massively better
