Spurs would not have won that game pre Conte.

Looking like a solid outfit atm, interesting who they sign in Jan and in the summer. If Levy keeps Conte happy with funds, I think they could prove a lot of people wrong and possibly over turn the 'spursy' badge they've managed to hold onto.

Time will tell if Conte does one of his usual disagree ment walkouts after 1-2 years.

Conte is a good manager and Spurs have a good team. Its not win the league good but its competing for top 4 good.

Watching today’s game made me realise just how much we’re gonna miss Partey at the AFCON. Could be the thing that derails our top 4 challenge.

On night shift so wasn't awake for the game.

It looks like we were competitive, Arteta didn't give them (in his absence) his usual 4D chess galaxy-brain tactics against Pep which never work and we didn't get tonked, so that's... progress?! Galling to lose like that but preferable to the usual tired apathetic resignation after being completely out-played and smashed. Expect some of the younger players like Gabriel to do silly things occasionally unfortunately and Xhaka gonna Xhaka until he's replaced.

I don't want to speak too early, but looks like Arteta has turned around fortunes versus the dreadful start to the season? I'm sure most Arsenal fans will agree that on paper, it's not a great squad but Arteta is getting good performances out of the team. Fair play - hopefully they hang on to win as it'll be good to see a close battle for the title (which I think will be between Liverpool and City as Chelsea have dropped off recently).

Our first game we were Covid-ridden then we had to play against the two best teams in the league before we'd finished our transfer business. This was apparently enough to create the media narrative we were hopeless relegation fodder. As soon as we were able to field a preferred XI and integrated the new players we started looking okay, albeit struggling to create a lot of chances per game, and then over the course of the season we've begun to sort that issue out and have more players contributing goals.

We're a long way off competing for the league still but I'd wager most fans can feel this team is one that's developing positively and is on the ascent (home atmosphere toxicity seems a thing of the past thankfully), rather than wallowing at the bottom of the downward spiral that began under Wenger, continued with Emery and is what Arteta was presented with when he took over. Still making some mistakes tactically and with transfers and contracts, but the good seems to be outweighing the bad and hopefully over time that'll bear some decent fruit.
