Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

I'm really sorry mate but I regret showing my wife the picture now :o

She wants the same unit in the corner, can you remember where you got it please? Last question I promise!

That's ok. It's been a while since this was fitted and the shop it was purchased from has gone bust. The nearest one I could find with similar dimensions is this one:

Obviously the one we have has a flat top rather than a sink so we could fit a bowl on the top.

Sorry I couldn't find it :(

What's the difference between that and a £10 thermometer (or a £20 wireless one)?

Mainly the app. But also I don't know any in oven safe wireless 20 quid meat thermometers?

Can the meator go in bbq meat?

As bbq thermometers tend to be fairly pricey

You can get wireless ones for £20ish on amazon (unsure on the quality mind).

I have a ThermoPro TP25 that has wires to the 4 probes, and Bluetooth to your phone. The Bluetooth is extremely unreliable with my Pixel 4XL, and has been so on both Android 10 and 11, so it sets off the disconnect alarm every few minutes.

However, you can connect once to programme in the temp limit, and the unit remembers it for the session and the alarm will sound on it without any phone connection, which is really handy.

I use it multiple times a week on all sorts of meat, and the multiple probes means you can constantly monitor temp on many places in the piece being cooked given exact deeper-most thermometer placement in a big bird can be a challenge.

I'd recommend it despite its foibles.

Edit: it actually cost £38...I thought it was half that price. I would still recommend it given the number of probes and the functionality

They also do the original Enterprise. Bought my son the BTTF Delorean (For my son, honest) :D. It's odd, the A-Team truck is really not the target market for typical PlayMobil market, neither is TOS Enterprise either but love it all the same.

I have great memories of all my PlayMobil from when I was a kid, still have the electric steam train. My sons a bit small for that yet (3) but he's got quite the collection going already.

Bought some great sounding earmuffs, I have a pair of WF-1000XM3s but they were starting to hurt my drums while wearing them under a winter hat. I'll probably keep both and use the earphones in summer when it's too hot for these.

Was having interweb issues (continual dropping of DSL & internet), so grabbed a cheap and cheerful modem/router to see if it was an issue with my hardware. And by cheap I mean 'free', as I used Nectar points.

Nabbed a noctua NF-A12 from the B grade section for a lot less than it should cost. Replaced an old NF-F12. It's impressively quiet by comparison.
