Is this your first Kindle? If so, you'll never look back.
I never went back to paper after getting my first Kindle. So much more convenient, and tales up faaaaaaaar less space than a mountain of books.

I've often wondered about purchasing one and you might have finally persuaded me to get one!Yeah I used to read LOADS and then the books mounted up, got boxed up and stored then eventually given to charity.
Fell out of reading and spent / spend too much time on my phone, so when I got a gift voucher from work at Xmas decided to get one.
Only came yesterday and already loading her up and read 11 chapters of a book yesterday which is unheard of for a long long time

It would definitely be a space saver and cost effective.
Is that so you can keep wheeling them into the sun like a good cat butlerNew cat bed..

But you threw the bed (box) in the bin....what a waste.New cat bed..
Yes, i know my place. Is that so you can keep wheeling them into the sun like a good cat butler![]()
Yes, but she has moved on from the boxes and will only sleep on the most obscure items inside them, like the creeper pictured. But you threw the bed (box) in the bin....what a waste.

Second this. The new one is awesome. I love the warm light. Makes it look even closer to that cream coloured paper you get in novels. You really won't regret it - either of you. I read relentlessly as well. I had all sorts of issues with books, as much as I like them - tired thumb from holding them open, awkward to hold in bed, wife wanted to light off when she went to sleep (and I'm still reading for the next hour), taking books on the train when you don't have a bag etc. I haven't looked back. If I've bought any books in the past 5ish years, it's because they look nice. I've not read any of the paper copies, and have even bought kindle copies of books that I love so I can read them again despite having the paperback or hardback on the shelf.
Also, I've not tried the Oasis, but given the price difference I would stick with the Paperwhite. The only thing that annoys me about it is that it slows down after a while, so I restart it maybe once a week to keep it quick.

Which font do fellow kindle readers use? It’s Baskerville or Palatino for me.
