Easy2boot vs Ventoy which is better and why ?

I've been using Rufus/windows tool but for some time but I dont really want multiple USB's or reformat one each time I need a different OS of boot software if i can help it, I tried multi boot software a few years ago but it did not always work I recently came across Easy2boot and Ventoy

both seam good, ventoy seam a little more modern and easy to use.

if you have any experience in the two please share.

I use ventoy
I also use yumi multi boot
Some of my Isos don't work on ventoy no idea why
But they do work on yumi
Yumi does similar thing you can have multiple bootable
Operating system installers and bootable tools etc on one usb
Not tried easy2boot
Rufus I use for Windows 11 installation
That can bypass compatibility checking, TPM etc
So personally my go to is yumi multi boot

Ventoy for me - Open source, active developer and better compatibility.

Previously used Easy2boot, but it compared to Ventoy it felt much clunkier in operation. Also it's website (at least used to be) shocking, looked like something from geocities with links plugging his paid for ebooks.

Over all Rufus is the best and has things like Windows To Go, Add Windows 11 "Extended" installation support (Disables TPM/Secure Boot), many other things but it does not support multi boot.

Which ISOs did you have a issue with ?
I use to have the same issue with yumi a lot of Images would not work so I stopped using it and just switched to rufus.

What do you find better about ventoy ?

What is the last time you used easy2boot, I think ventoy must have hurt them a a lot because they have updated the website with a new domain, continually updating the app and inc adding ventoy and something call agFM

Easy2Boot – a grub4dos-based MBR\Legacy-only menu system
agFM – a grub2-based MBR\Legacy+UEFI32+UEFI64 menu system based on grubfm (optional) Ventoy for Easy2Boot – a grub2-based MBR\Legacy+UEFI32+UEFI64 menu system based on Ventoy (optional)

on the other hand they seam to also allow you to but easy2boot on ventoy

ebooks are still on the new site but in its own section.

Ventoy still looks a lot better but ive tried neither.

i have all sorts of live windows environments
for troubleshooting and fixing stuff
cant remember which specific isos caused the problem
but i have yumi-rufus-ventoy all on separate flash drives anyway
when one doesnt do what i need i use the other

Thanks, I don't us it as much as in the past due to not having as many issues, so I only wanted one good one and have rufus as backup.

I also came accross another one called SARDU MultiBoot but I don't like the fact it has a free and paid model with no clear comparison.

What do you find better about ventoy ?
Compatibility with a lot of HP Server (SPP) and thin client ISOs was the main one - could never get them to work with the older version of Easy2Boot, whereas they worked straight away when I moved to ventoy.
There was also something (can't remember exactly what) that required me to use .imgPTN files under Easy2Boot, and at the time it did something "dodgy" like swapping active partitions on the USB, which meant it ended non-bootable until you reconfigured it. Whatever I needed it for worked fine on Ventoy, so never looked back.

It was around 18 months ago that I switched - certainly looks like the website has been tidied up a bit since then.

is it possible to create a image with rufus and then use it on ventoy
example you can create a windows to go and (Disables TPM/Secure Boot) with rufus and some other things ive not even tried ?
