Anyone else get the impression that Russia's invasion has been pretty damn pathetic so far? For all their posturing as a country to be 'feared' they seem rather underwhelming in their ability.

Well it's a very big country, if they don't want you to you don't just walk in.

It makes you think though, if they have so much trouble against the Ukraine forces and the public, how would they fare against a full scale NATO assault?

The point is, there's far bigger losses than they probably expected, I reckon they thought more of a blitzkrieg would have taken place by now and the puppet government would already be in place. They been planning this for so long and seem to be rather clueless.

Apparently reports coming out of Severnaya Satellite Control Centre that a Russian general has been seen leaving with the access keys for an advanced orbital EMP weapon system.

This would be a real escalation if true...

Urban warfare is particularly difficult for any nation. Even the US with its technological and military might struggled in Afghanistan

Putin started this thing demanding NATO off their borders and suddenly he achieves the opposite, finland and sweden consider joining, invasion of ukraine doesnt go well.

Also, i was thinking, there are plenty of long range weapons, why does it matter if you have a neighboring country is in NATO, NATO could strike from long range easily.

It has hardly been a very convincing show of force.

I know you can't really form a conclusion from twitter videos, but most of them just seem to have Russian vehicles driving aimlessly around on their own. All seems a bit random and disorganised.

Because the further away things are the more advanced warning you get.
