I saw one of the destroyed Russian convoy clips earlier with Burnt dead Russian soldiers, I can't help but feel sorry for them, a lot will be kids, teenagers sent as cannon fodder for one man's ambition, I just hope their family's direct their anger towards the rat that sent them to their deaths and not the people defending their family's.

I know that one because it was posted a day or two ago. But then there was a report of some more Su30s being shot down,and then he mentioned an SS21 shot one down. I was wondering whether that was referring to the Su30s which were destroyed today.

True but hitting a plane from a huge distances even if it is on the ground is lucky but also in this context great news.

I imagine the iron dome system is way more complex and requires tonnes of training, whereas things like stingers are very easy to use (look at what the Afghans did to the soviets in the 80s with them, with literally no training)

Iron dome is more of a fixed position defensive screen.

Of course if the location is known it would be the first target of cruise missiles.

However, iron dome and shoot down incoming missiles and planes at a much larger range and altitude than a stinger could.

With a stinger you have to have visual contact with the aircraft in question.
