Given NATO have made it totally clear they don’t want to take on the might of the Russian Army

Given what we have seen in the last week, the apparent “might of the Russian army” is massively over rated, it would get overpowered by a combined European force, never mind needing the USA

The rest of the world are collectively imposing sanctions in the hope of grinding Russias economy and war machine to a halt but nothing more.

It's about more than just trying to grinding the Russian economy to a halt. We can't do anything about how Russia is governed, the only people who can do that are the people who live there and grinding the Russian economy to a halt is one way to, hopefully, prompt the Russian people into what would essentially be revolt.

It's not the "might" of the Russian army that's the issue. Conscripts in knackered old T-72s aren't much of a threat. It's the ensuing WW3 if they step a foot into Ukraine as a NATO fighting force.

rumours are that Chinese leadership has put Taiwan on the major back burner and will wait until they are the major super power (if ever), the sanctions has scared them and they realise that sanctions on China would be even stronger

It would be brutal for China. If anything it may have shown that being very friendly to Taiwan to encourage a closer relationship is much more likely to be successful and acceptable.

Makes Australia's $50 million supply of mostly lethal aid to Ukraine all the more dangerous to them. I think Canada supplied some too.

Western countries that have similar values to NATO are being drawn in to give support but don't have any protection. It could come back to bite them.

If Putin decided to nuke Australia for interfering, then NATO would just say can't do anything because it would start WW3.

Putin has made it clear he will hit the button, if NATO or EU or any other Foreign forces enter Ukraine directly.

The "might of the Russian Army" includes way more tactical battlefield nukes than are in the EU.

Any major foreign force will be annihilated before they are a few KM into Ukraine, anyone thinking otherwise is plain daft.

Putin knows damn well he could not win a conventional war, so he would never dream of fighting one against superior equipment.

Nato would absolutely obliterate there conventional forces , imagine what a few well aimed B52’s would do to the waiting 40 mile convoy. My point is at some point in time we might have to play nuclear poker with Putin .
