It's their only significant revenue stream given everything else is stuckI'm surprised they haven't turned the gas off to Europe yet...

Fair point. One that i can see becoming a bargaining chip soon.
Definitely bad news next winter for Europe.
It might actually spur European countries into becoming energy independent and ditching fossil fuels. I suspect Germany's ill-advised abandoning of nuclear power to be reviewed.
Does boggle the mind somewhat that we urinate money down the drain on London-centric toss like HS2 when we could be using the money to build nuclear power....it's not like this energy price issue has been a major surprise...the government was warned.
Oh definitely. Im amazed there are not plans to build more nuclear plants. As you say its mind boggling strategically.

it’s always the same few posters that enjoy going against the grain on any thread in the forum, whether it be here, covid, politics. Same names every single time.
Only company wanting to build nuclear in the UK is EDF - all the rest pulled out so the projects got cancelled. Give it 5 years and the uk will have 3 nuclear power stations left working (Hinkney Point B, Heysham 1 and Hartlepool all due to close before 2025)
Just listened to an excerpt from a us Military political analyst saying how we will soon be needing Russia in the fight between "everyone" and China.... Come 50 years or less....
Better not do too much damage.
they are best pals so unlikely
It's someone getting killed so I doubt it.Here's the video of the helicopter shot down.
I assume this is ok to post?
