Assassinating a ruler of a country - where have I heard that before? Archduke Franz Ferdinand was assassinated and that started the World War I.
It's Pandora's box.
Once there is a principle that a head of state can be assassinated, everyone becomes fair game.
I can't see the presidents etc of any country seeing that as a positive development.
