I see what people mean about the map being mostly useless now. I was looking for some Doctor guy and ended up in a spooky area with violent fauna. Completely the wrong way!

The map has improved a bit since launch (it was really, really bad) but you're mostly better off using in-game signage and landmarks to navigate.

Yeah, it threw me a bit as there was a barrier in the way, all of which have been impassable up til now. But turns out I could just shoot some blocks and clear it. :o
 
Zoinks. These Altered Item bosses are a bit mad. Come close to killing two of them but not managed yet. Need more levels in health and energy, I think.
