They will probably spin it to justify their war in Yemen. Pretty convenient for the Saudi's and anyone who needs an out for working with them.

Indeed, but the key words here are "long-term". The prospects for Russia aren't changing much week by week, whereas Ukrainians are dying and having their property and infrastructure annihilated. One of these things is not like the other. Additionally, most of that harm to Russia is now baked in, Russia will face heavy sanctions for at least as long as Putin remains the leader: whereas things for Ukraine will start improving the moment the Russians leave, for Russia they will continue getting worse.
That's my point though. Concessions don't just need to be Ukraine surrendering/ceding territory. Russia is being battered and will be battered 'forever more' - or at least for the immediate middle classes entering relative poverty from where they had planned.

If Russia pulls out, I don't doubt we'll lift sanctions as a bonus. The "win" will be Russia returning to relative normality.

the Tik tok crew are heading back to chechnya ( not so hard as they think they are), Belarusian troops are now fighting againist the Russians. Russian is losing this.

WTF how did it manage to fly back again. Putin is poking the stick to see what response he gets.

I assume it was warned off and complied - unless two countries are at war normally they don't immediately shoot down another country's plane if it strays into their air space. Some exceptions aside like Turkey but IIRC pilot didn't respond/comply in that case).

So a verbal statement is being used to validate further action.

I suspect the UK summoning Russia's defence attache is probably because their subs have been poo-tining around the undersea cables and North Sea gas/fishing again.

Iran helped Houthis against Saudi .. so I can see this spreading. Biden stopped supporting Saudi activities in Yemen too. So is Russia proxying to cut oil?

What do you mean by spreading? Do you mean a larger conflict in Saudi Arabia or more attacks there?

I can't see a reason for the Russians to involve themselves, especially since this would just **** off the Americans and give them the information win if the Russians are caught.

What they won't say is it seems the UAF was using it

Which makes it a legit target

I'm just looking at the roof and other features on Google earth and I can't see a match for the roof in the lefthand picture.

Perhaps the Russians are being fed false info to exhaust their reserves.. they may know that if they had access to the interwebz.

I mean local rivals attacking oil infrastructure. Suddenly it seems important to attack oil infrastructure rather than general attacks.
