Pentagon says Russian troops are leaving Chernobyl for Belarus - apparently they arriving in Belarus by the bus load with acute radiation poisoning and some of the Russian troops were even instructed to dig trenches in the forest around Chernobyl

Bunch of absolute *****, some of the Russian soldiers are claiming they did not know what Chernobyl is or that they were at Chernobyl

Only 3.6 roentgen. Not great, not terrible.

Good joke, I edit my posts several times when it makes sense to merge things together, I'm not individually posting each headline.
I think it'd be far easier to just post normally on the forums than post like this if that were anyone's intention.
If any mod wants to waive my MM's access I couldn't care less :)

IIRC 0007 actually has 1600+ posts or something total.
Yeah 500 got removed, but it doesn't bother me, that's not really my intention here as some may like to think.

Regarding Chernobyl, IIRC one of the Russian state broadcasters released their own drama series based on the disaster as a response to HBO’s excellent series (would highly recommend watching it if you haven’t already), where they painted the explosion and subsequent release of radiation as the result of CIA sabotage, so they must have some idea of what happened there.

I’ve mentioned before, I work with a guy from the east of Ukraine whose pro-Russia, and he takes everything from the Russian media outlets as absolute truth, and anything else from anywhere else is dismissed as propaganda. He lives in a completely parallel reality it seems, utterly bat-**** to see.

The worse thing is that we appear to already be loosing interest. Broadcasters are reporting less views and clicks on related stories, Johnson already going back to lambasting Labour over 'white flag' waving allegations, sanctions momentum is lessening and I see plenty of people talking about how Ukraine should just seed territory and get on with it. Horribly depressing.

I don't know, Johnson is talking about providing armoured vehicles to Ukraine, stating that sanctions remain until every Russian soldier has left Ukraine. Determined to hold the EU to account if they backslide on sanctions. The UK is still holding the line on the war whatever may be reported about clicks.
The Ukraine should not be forced to cede territory just to placate European fuel users, and I include the UK there as well. It is beyond high time that we were self sufficient in that respect.

Must admit even I have stopped following events quite so intently.
As regards sanctions, once this is over one way or another I reckon as soon as countries/businesses reckon they can get away with it, trade and relations with Moscow will be rapidly restored.
Let's face it we haven't exactly isolated Russia from the world and Putin never carried out his threat to detach from the internet/WWW. There still seem to be plenty of Russian players/teams inhabiting various tablet games I play, almost uncanny as if there are two parallel realities running.

*Russia Considers Presence of Any US, NATO Military Infrastructure in Countries Bordering Afghanistan Unacceptable - TASS Cites Lavrov

China provides weapons to Pakistan
Putin provides weapons to India
Russian/China/NKorea provides Iran
Russia, China and Bulgaria provide Tajikstian
Russia, Kazakhstan and China provide Kyrgystan
Turkey, Russia, Ukraine, Europe supply arms to Turkmenistan.
China supply Uzbekistan
China also border..

So the question is - is China joining NATO :D Or are Russia simply point out that having people proxy or operating in countries other than your own is annoying? Such as Putin's corporate mercs in Africa causing conflict with French peacekeepers.

Like I said before with China and Russia's eyes firmly fixed on the resources of Africa, attempting to take control of the Eurasia and Africa - vs America, then Europe needs to wake up and smell the coffee. For example France removing UN troops from Malawi leaving the Russian mercs to destabilise and take control.
