Neighbours want to close road for party - can I still drive on it?

Well your "partner" knew about it didnt they so obviously not

you've clearly been informed about this beforehand

haven't objected

He's probably not invited
speaking to his wife would be an effort

[Apex knows] who's organised it

he has been invited
Lol this guy

true, but as soon as you were told you did not go into full on Alpha mode and demand that you be allowed to move your higher than average priced car. i think this may be the issue the ocuk alpha posse are struggling with. for future reference, as soon as you are informed of something that may possibly negatively impact you then you're supposed to go, immediately, and confront said issue rather than asking advice. i hope you are better placed now to live your life.

The above is correct, but @Thekwango neglected to advise on the importance of adopting a boxing stance when confronting the neighbours.

Ok, so it isn't ill will from any party stopping you. That is good news.

I am sure you will be fine. I highly doubt the road will be barricaded.

We did the last time this was allowed for the golden jubilee I think. . The whole cul de sac was barricaded off and tables and chairs were put down the middle of the street. If you needed to out then you were advised to move your car out of the street during the closure.

What is a higher than average priced vehicle?!

Well official figures are, the average price of a UK car is £38,585 so one which costs more than that so nothing that special to be honest - a BMW Z4 sDrive20i Sport, Range Rover Evoque D165 MHEV R-Dynamic automatic, Volkswagen Golf 1.4 TSI GTE etc

Yea same. Still takes me to the same place that a higher price car would mind you. I have 8 seats as well so can be kinda cool to my kids friends when i take them out. I hope they dont realise my suspension isnt on the ground and i shop at Tesco tho :(.

When I bought my car it was worth less than average price :( But with the current crazy market rates, it's now worth more than the average price. :D :D Does that mean I can complain about street closures now too?
The trouble with that, is the average price increased too along with your car value, so you may find it's all about the same in the end and you're still below average.
