Almost needed the light on in the kitchen making tea, came over so dark. Quite a downpour (got me out of watering the rosebeds, hee hee) but no thunder or lightning in Swindon.

I would have been pretty p’eed off with this. Have sat on a Jet2 plane on a runway for 2.5 hours playing that awful Jess Glynne song. Thank goodness for headphones.

My flat also does not want to obey the laws of physics. I don’t know why the air isn’t circulating that much. I suppose the structure has probably also soaked up the heat from the last couple of days and is now radiating it back out.
Fairly humid here, and sat outside in shorts having a BBQ.
All was good until a pointy tailed black and yellow **** decided to sting me under my armpit.
At least it wasn't one of the many hornets in the garden this year.
