Because it's radioactive!
(side note for detail - a teeny tiny proportion of the potassium in bananas (and many other things) is a naturally occuring radioactive isotope of potassium. It's not possible to eat enough bananas for it to be a significant risk. Not even if you ate 100 bananas every day for 100 years. Maybe if you lived inside a huge pile of bananas...)

am i the only one wondering why it's only with 5g we're seeing this level of crazy come out of the woodwork? where was it at the rollout of 4g, or 3g etc?

All I can say about that is WOW.
Just tell them that 5G is electromagnetic radiation.
Then tell them that most houses and any mains cables bathe the room dwellers in electromagnetic radiation (true) and SMPS also belt out even higher levels of electromagnetic radiation.
Now tell them that the signal strength for a 5G mast as far far lower. than the mains/SMPS EMI. Should have them off the internet and power grid in a jiffy.

That one is so dumb it makes the 5G stuff look almost rational.
Leaving aside the obvious impossibility of a conspiracy involving a huge number of people around the world, if the Secret World Government was dosing everyone with Secret Drugs, why on earth would they do it in such an uncontrollable way? Given that the doses people would recieve would vary wildly, it makes no sense at all.
How is it meaningless, what are the tables showing?
More likely that the drivers in LED street lights would interfere with 5G.
