What TV shows are you currently watching

Been watching 'For All Mankind' I'd seen it mentioned a lot here, but for some reason just ignored it. Saw the first episode earlier in the week was hooked. Proper 1h long episodes interesting characters and a decent premise. Obviously it is a little convenient in places, but still great.

Finished the first season and started the second, but found it quite jarring. The first episode of the second season seemed a bit flat was missing many of the elements of what got me into it in the first place. Will see how it goes, but will probably watch a much slower pace now.
 
Started on The Last Tango in Halifax on iPlayer. Is quite good, although I struggle watching TV with people making really stupid decisions... but I guess there are people out there that do this sort of thing...
 
I've been watching Severance, really enjoying it. It got the aesthetic and feel of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind meets Maniac, with some of the weirdness of the game Control thrown in. Really cool concept.

Also watched the first episode of Resident Evil last night. Wasn't super impressed, it looks shiny but it doesn't feel particularly compelling, I don't care about the characters and they've already made enough stupid decisions to annoy me. Crap use of music too, it felt very unremarkable.
 
Returned to Black Summer last night, something I'd completely forgotten about.

I'm working my way through the latter stage of the first series, and it's been rather good so far.

Some tense moments when watching yesterday.

Not a patch on the first season unfortunately - they've managed to make you hate every character you cared about!
 
We recently finished The Leftovers, good but defo peaked in Season 1 and continued a downward trajectory until the end.

Just started watching The Boys and quite enjoying it... only 4 episodes in. I can see the dark side, the lack of dark side has always annoyed me about Marvel and DC entities, so its some what refreshing.

Still slogging away through Stark Trek: Voyager. I love it, but should have given more time before this rewatch. Got other things I want to watch instead.

I had to suffer this as the other half wanted to watch. Thought it would be awful and not my thing. Turns out its the best written and best acted thing on TV and I love every minute of it. Even made my cheeks wet on more than one occasion.
 
Dark

Like more adult and sinister Stranger things with zero humour and a colour palate of depression everywhere, same as the music really very good.

(forgot to add its German so its subtitles, unless of course your German then your all good)

Just finished watching Banshee...what a ride!

Aww man, what am I gonna watch now, is there anything out there as good as this?
 
‘Under the Banner of Heaven’ on Disney+. Only seven episodes so watched fairly quickly. Really enjoyed it so a solid 8/10. It focuses around a true crime situation involving the Mormon church in Utah in the 70s (they don’t say exactly when it is). Main characters are played by Andrew Garfield and Daisy Edgar-Jones.
