Bolt extractors any experience?

I have several 10mm bolts that are both rusted and a bit rounded I need to remove.

I was wondering if these extractors would do the job the smallest extractor being 10mm. I'm not sure if a 10mm extractor would be any good on a 10mm slightly rounded bolt?

I’ve used that type successfully
The usual trick is to try to file it down a bit and bang on a smaller socket

I have the Irwin set and they work really well, your biggest issue will be snapping the head off if they are proper stuck.

Heat is your friend, plus gas is also good but patience is a must with any rusted bolt.

Yeah heat is the next thing on another stuck bolt. Already been through Plusgas and similar, no help with these stuck bolts!

Will be heat and then cutting out as a last resort.

I found a welder to be of great use when trying to remove stuck turbo downpipe nuts. Welded a nut to it and the heat expansion helped break the seal.

Induction heater is invaluable in a workshop these days. Not a very cheap tool for the typical DIY jobs though.

Soldering irons can get you part of the way, mind.
