NVIDIA 4000 Series

It's also a great warranty service, my friend used them for a 3090, they paid for shipping both ways and they shipped the replacement on the same day they received the faulty unit. Replacement was brand new and sealed.
That’s nice! When my Asus 3090 strix broke I sent it to overclockers who then sent onto Asus factory for repair. A month later Asus gave no update so overclockers gave me a partial refund. Definitely tempted on the Founders Edition for the warranty alone!

No i can already see the pictures ,i know what it will look like already unless you think EK cut a < in the side for no reason
Ok, my bad, you win:

Then Alphacool was talking rubbish...

Yeah ignore Alphacool  As soon as i saw the new FE cooler was identical i knew the board would be the same shape and when EK released the pics i had a very good look at them as i am eyeing one up to buy and that is when i noticed the indent for the pcb which confirmed it was the same shape :) All good though and EK are on the ball it seems and will have blocks out for most shortly after , wouldn't be surprised if the reference block is next as it will cover a few card that do use that ( aib ) , i know the strix will get its own custom block though :)

Interesting:

Latency remains to be tested, but, if it is about the same as v-sync, probably a lot won't care that much if it brings up the frame rate.
Main concern I have is ray tracing going forward in nvidia sponsored games now, given the several new RT effects portal has and with increased bounces (even more than quake and minecraft RTX, which are already stupidly demanding), it's going to make ampere sweat big time :( But then again, I suppose outside of cp 2077, dying light 2, chernobylite, we haven't had that many titles with loads of current gen RT effects so we'll maybe only get a couple of titles pushing the new RT effects and the majority will remain with just the basic couple of RT effects, which we all are accustomed to now... Just hope if they are super demanding for anything but the 40xx cards, that there will at least be options to turn on/off or reduce specific effects.
Going forward you NEED the increase bounces. So the problem now remains the much too expensive hardware

This guy tells it as it is.

Not seen this guy before OhNoItsAlexx but good video too, I thought you posted the not the apple fan video.

not an apple fan ripping nvidia a new one.

I normally don't like his ranting, but this time he is 100% right and people need to watch that and ingest it and realise the consumer has to show some restrain or we will allow such companies to take us for a ride forever, enough is enough now and this Nvidia generation is the perfect time to stick it to them till they price them sensibly and stop the fake naming and trying to confuse the general consumer with this naming game they are playing. It is very dishonest behaviour now and laughing in our faces .

If people don't keep their wallets in their pockets this gen well don't complain next time when the same happens again. If this generation doesn't stop it then nothing will sadly because this gen really was a middle finger at us consumers.

which of the AIB models are the 600w versions, I see many models appearing but neglecting this information?
I asked the Asus rep on FB and was told more info will be released later so probably under embargo until near release , i assume the strix will be up there considering the 3090 strix could go up to 480w ( 520w with a bios ) ... will probably be 4 x 8 pin pcie connectors via an adapter.

I cant see AMD being any better on pricing , its not like they started selling their cpu cheaper when they caught up to intel with 5000 series in gaming ... no they matched the price or exceeded it if the sku was better  AMD are not your friend , they want as much of your money as possible pretty much like most companies

Exqueeze me! I loathe Vsync, even though my current GPU can maintain 120+fps on a 144Hz display setting in most games, the sponge effect introduced by vsync even at these high frames is just terrible.

This is why VRR like Gsync/FreeSync etc come into their own. All pros, no cons.

I'd rather be without DLSS 3 if having it enabled brings about vsync-like mouse movement latency elastics!
