NVIDIA 4000 Series

Sold out now on OC for all cards too by the looks of it.

Seems their plan of charging £100+ for each card has worked in their favour.
That is quite a lot of extra profit - Especially if you think they had 100 Zotacs in stock that's an extra 10K profit on those cards alone - So fair play to them.

Guess I and another one or two on here got lucky, added to basket, had browser saved card and address details, CVV input and checkout within about 10 seconds total.

Just seen from Der8auer video Aorus Master 4090 is only 6% over FE model!! im wondering how much it will be the Asus strix , does it justify the £700 more or its just brand price tag to pay that value?

You mix "I don't want it" with "I want it but cheaper", I believe. Plenty more people would love to buy them but can't afford it. Still, enough of people could afford them to buy the whole UK stock in an hour, or less. :)

i think these are OC in factory so a slight squeeze may not hurt

need to look at the temps and load from PSU, is handy as I have an LED screen on my PSU so that will be interesting

but ppl say that the 4090 give more performance yet sucks less power? hmmm

All of that tells me and NVIDIA one thing - there's enough of people out there with money, for them to be charging big prices. Last I read Jensen H. said 4k series is already too cheap in comparison to what it should be, and future generations will be even more expensive. He's right, it would seem, they could easily charge more and still sell out in an hour or less. :)

Of course it doesn't, it almost never did. But it also never stopped people buying these. :)
 
As my block pre order isn't due until next month, I'm not overly disappointed in not scoring a FE "yet" :D I'm really hoping the next couple of FE drop ease off on the 1s sell out. Guess it's back to checking every 4090 notification in the discord channel for that holy grail notification. Would be great if nvidia could follow a 1s sell out with another drop time and date, give all as fair a chance to score. Keep doing until they stay in stock for 30 mins.

ah cancel culture :cry: tbh if could say that on every thread, its just my opinion, ppl dont have to take notic eas most dont, maybe im just fishing:p;). anyway i have been cancelled so shall leave the thread:p
