So my Zotac amp ex has a 495W(techpowerup) board

I was hoping for 600W for the top Zotac!

Makes no difference on 4090s they are voltage locked anyways, adding more power makes no difference with these and not like the cards before, these are all set to 11 out of the box.

As you noticed no shortages and probably spotted better models in stock today for what you paid for really a basic model.

Just got told by a college he ordered a MSI Suprim X for £1749 a top end card for £50 more than the FE MSRP too. I don't understand how some cards were even over £2k and the inno3d rtx-4090-ichill was over £2.5k for a cheap card with a cheap water block on here and could be had elsewhere for almost £700 less. Come on something is really wrong now. Anyways vote with your wallets.

Well that's MSI, lets not forget what they did on ebay with the 30 series ... scalping their own cards under another company name, then Karma got them and fire damaged one of their factories. What goes around comes around ...

i don't where some of u are seeing 4090s in stock, i've just checked 7 uk resellers, all sold out.
btw +1 to the OC complaints of being overpriced, they were +£400 for the card i bought elsewhere

Your colleague lied – maybe not including VAT, or he's getting confused. I was after one (and got one) and saw the pricing from every single retailer, and no one was anywhere near that on the Suprim X. One site had them at that price up to about 13:30 on the day before it changed to £2,079 (half hour prior to actual availability).

I'd say in general always be cautious when it comes to stories of super-bargains because some people make them up for the perverse pleasure they get watching people get angry about having paid more. And knowing they'll spread the story without seeing proof.

Although it is possible. I got the 3090 Asus OC Strix for £1595 last time when Ocuk wanted close to £1800 from memory.

I am not complaining here but my Dpd deliveries are always 12:45-1:45, like pretty much been that way for the near 4 years I’ve lived here. Todays delivery is 4:45 to 5:45 I think it said… they must be delivery a lot of gpus today!
