It’s not the job of an opposition to provide a fully specced manifesto of alternatives. Conservatives didn’t offer alternatives when they were in opposition. They sniped at the sidelines.

Thats's called being in opposition and is a direct result of FPTP, if this country had a more represantive way of electing its MP's there would be far more open cooperation.

The rest of what he said is actual garbage. Both the IMF and the BoE said that what happened in the UK imediately post Kami Kwasi's nonsense was an imediate effect because of that nonsense. No other central bank has had to bail out gilts to prevent pensions from collapsing other than the UK in that period. So trying to just say this is all Putin / Ukraine is a fallacy. The UK situation was made worse by the **** poor decisions of the **** poor leaders that are currently sat in government.

Interest rates have been going up for the past 11 months following the pandemic, I'm not saying the mini-budget helped but it isn't the sole reason. I'm not a fan of Liz Truss.
