The 6800 XT is for 4K, whereas the 6700 is more of a 1080p high/1440p med card, so the kind of experience they'd give you is completely different and that really comes down to what you need. Buying a 6800 XT for 1080p would be a waste, for example, but a 3060/6700 for 4K is not really realistic, because you'd have to make too many sacrifices.

by the way, WD doing offers on some of their nvme's....they did this last year bewfore black fri, and by time black fri came around, their prices had gone back up...if you want more than the SN570 (which I'd get over the P2). Below are gen 4 drives..still can't quite get my head around the SN850X 2tb being below £200

performance of the 6700 is similar to the 6650XT iirc

another option is the AMD own brand 6750XT card which pips the rtx3070 in performance. That's available for £479 and in stock, though not at OCuk..or I didn't see it
ah, it is, £20 more, so not massively different

Thanks lots of great advice
I’m only gaming in 1080.

A 6700xt is the best you should need and will still be ok if you upgrade to 1440p at a later date.

I'd imagine for modded textures 'n stuff with flight sims then the extra vram might come in handy too, but I don't actually know that and 8GB cards don't seem overly troubled in the ms one.

give us all a sec to work out whether that alderlake bundle is value or not..out of the 2 gpu's you've put, I'd take the 6750xt i put above..it's the newer version of the 6700xt, so about 10% faster (for the same price)
no idea on that case, from a quick scan, looks quite short so fit up to a 322mm gpu(max length to the front fans)..that's not a huge amount, if you ever upgrade in future, you might struggle, plus any gpu close to that will block airflow around it..my choice out of the one's @dfour put are the P500a (so much space you'll be able to upgrade whatever), p400a..can still take a 415gpu, the lancool 2..gpu up to 384mm I think it was..if you wanted a bit cheaper and don't mind white and black, OCuk selling the P400a white black on offer for £72..not only £20 off, but including free vertical gpu mount and riser cable..couple others p500a with cooler(need to go through your value bundle) and p600(remember couple of members loving this case also) and 750w psu with it

by the way, are you planning on overclocking cpu? If not, may be worth looking a the B660 boards
package decent price so ignore the p500a with cooler, unless you like it..had to go elsewhere for similar but found

same 32 gb lpx corsair 3600c18 ram £106.66..for £112 can go vengeance pro rgb 3200C16 which will run along same lines as 3600c18 interchangeable with 3200c16 as one faster with looser timing, other opposite
dif motherboard, and need to find out a bit more but couple reviews so far have it well regarded..NZXT N7 board reduced to £229.99 from £264.98 at the mo........edit..ignore this board...it's just not as good as the below, so why bother
same 12600kf for £289.99
H100i (240mm)elite capelix for £115 or h115i (280mm)elite cappelix for £111
bit of a faff buying away, but an alternative anyway for diff look etc

I just looked at that bundle..for £20 more I'd 100% take the tomahawk over the aorus elite board..also be tempted by the kingston ram £5 get a bit of rgb and c17 timing rather than c18( i just prefer the look of the kingston tbh)..the 360mm aio not really needed for a 12600kf, but if you get a case with a 360mm fitting in roof, will be nice, and you know if can cool a more powerful cpu..

I'm currently pricing up something similar with a 6800XT. I've seen it dip just under £600 recently, if you search hard for it. Only seems to stay at that price for 24 hours or so.

Powercolor 6800XT on sale for £485. Reduced in price very heavily today.
Gigabyte 6900XT on sale for £513 if you'd prefer.

Wow that is very aggressive pricing for excellent cards.

Conclusions I can draw from that type of pricing are that AMD will soon have a decent amount of stock of other cards that they will be wanting to sell. Roll on thursday.
