Then the rules need to be changed. It’s absolutely ridiculous that the BBBofC do not act upon Vada findings. Vada May as well not exist. It’s a mess and governing bodies need to sort their **** out.

How about this though. BJS fails a dugs test with Vada yet gets away with it on a technicality due to Ukad permitting it to be used out of competition. Frank Warren can button it that’s for sure.

I don't think it's as straight forward as you put it but it's clear that the drug testing situation is a mess. The BJS situation probably sums the mess up in fact with VADA and UKAD not evening agreeing on what is and isn't banned.

How is it not that simple. Vada is a more boxing oriented Ukad. They are used globally in the sport of boxing. If you fail a Vada test then all the relevant boards of control should be notified and the findings acted upon.

Hearn is getting almost all the flack for this which I don’t think is fair. He probably could/should have acted differently and pulled the fight but legally would he have been able to do that? I don’t know the structure of the contracts.

Ultimately he did what quite probably all the other promoters would and have done, just as Frank Warren with BJS. It should have been taken out of there hands by the BBBofC, not wait until the day before the fight.

I’m still undecided on Conor Benn. It just doesn’t make sense you would take a substance that stays in your system for 10 months, yet sign up for voluntary drug testing knowing their would be a high chance of being caught. It really doesn’t make sense.

I have no idea if the board were notified however the problem was that UKAD allow the substance that BJS tested positive for out of competition. I'm not saying it's right and as I said it's a mess however it's not as straight forward as the Benn situation. Also, Warren wasn't promoting that fight, Heard was and on that occasion Hearn was siding with VADA, not UKAD and the board.

Jake Paul vs Anderson Silva tonight.

Who've we got?

I'm leaning to Silva. But I've been surprised by Paul in his last fights.

Silva is 47 and a UFC fighter. You have to give it to Paul though, he gets some decent hype for fights that aren't really a risk to him.

Silva was a clinical UFC fighter when he could use his kicks, elbows and accurate striking in light gloves to knock people out. Putting an old man version of him in the ring in a boxing match was never going to go that well.

I think we are getting Benn and BJS mixed up. The majority of my reply was with Benn in mind.

I just watched the Jake Paul vs Anderson Silva on the replay.

It was a great fight. Both fighters were standing toe to toe with each other.

I'll put the result in a spoiler tag in case anyone wants to see the fight.

Jake Paul won by decision. Paul managed to score a knock down against Silva.

Was ok but one problem is boxing Vs UFC but is watchable.

It was a much better test for Paul for sure, Silva was no push over

Well boxing is **** and has been for years now the lad is exposing it and making a packet.
Not really. He’s tapped into a celebrity/YouTube thing and is making good money for it. He’s yet to fight a boxer because he’ll get well beat.

Personally I don’t think it belongs in with Boxing keep it separate as a side show.
