You're going to have to be more specific, there were quite a few of them.Is it spiking? Daily cases low compared to October.
Where’s that guy who was going on like the world was going to end?![]()

Even at the hospital (admin) I was told to come in and wear a mask.
Hats off to the 7 of you in this thread. It really is a feat to keep this thread constantly at the top of the forums with little to no news on the original subject.

150 odd deaths? That's nothing to be proud of![]()
Well my prediction was wrong, we had over 200 patients a month ago and I thought it would go up but we've got about 50 now.
I think he’s one of the seven, he’s obviously patting his own back without trying to make it obvious. And yet here you are.
First time catching it? Done well to avoid it so long!Well, finally it's happened, couldn't have been at a worse time really. Tested positive this morning after having a horrendous night in bed last night, insane out of control shivers, a sky high temperature and a booming headache. Not so much in the way of a sore throat or continual cough though but every time I do have to cough from a tickle it's like a sledgehammer being struck to my head.
It's been a bit of a rough day but I seem to be a lot better now than I was this time last night. I've got zero energy though and hardly moved from the sofa all day.
The difficulty in this now is trying to steer clear of my wife and 10 month old girl and the father in law was diagnosed with very aggressive blood cancer about a month ago. I've been supporting him, taking him to chemo etc as the mother in law doesn't drive.
So the treatment just seems to be paracetamol, lots of liquid, rest and ride it out?
Yes it's first time catching it, amazing really as I'm a IT field engineer and been out in public right through covid. No idea how I've caught it now as I'm still very careful when I'm out and about.First time catching it? Done well to avoid it so long!
It wouldn't do any harm if you're not already taking them, to get some daily multi vitamins and a high strength (eg. 4000 IU) vitamin D supplement.
No different then any other year. Only difference is the fear that they caused. Just be considerate like you been other years.Still testing negative. Got tonsillitis , coughing loads and a chest infection. Voice raspy and unable to raise voice. Latter is required this time of year at work otherwise can't hear me over crap Xmas music, screaming kids etc.
Rang in sick. Think the coldness of the store has certainly increased the chances of getting ill.

Skippers response was to someone who is testing negative therefore probably just has a general winter bug therefore in that case he's bang on, it's just like every other year since day dot if you feel that rough and you're coughing and spluttering everywhere then be considerate and avoid people as much as you can.YES IT IS 100% DIFFERENT
I have never known another illness kill so many hospital staff and lay so many hospital staff off work.
Even I had to go and help in the Covid wards and I've never seen 15 wards dedicated to just a cold before.
I've never seen bodies being stacked in our Pharmacy fridges because there was no room in the Mortuary.
You need to stop with this conspiracy nonsense.
What a vile unsympathetic creature you are.
Pointless getting that wound up and responding in weird and wonderful ways to completely different points though either way. He's obvisouly a denier though, needs both barrels.
