I may build a small one in my home office one day…..but works laptop and 3 screens takes a lot of space and tbh i dont know what i would use it for

Home Assistant can run on an Rpi, if you have a laptop and can use it for setting up the Rpi, then you don't really need a computer after that.

Well we are only a mile from the sea, so a lot further south.
About 5/6 years ago we had a bloke from the FIT scheme out to check our system. We were being paid over 3 times as much for our solar electricity as we could buy from the grid. There must be some people out there cheating. When I asked why we had been targeted, he told me were in the top 2% in Hampshire for efficiency.
It certainly is unfair we are burdened with a south facing roof, no real shade issues and good solar panels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2.2kw today for me. My east facing strings are just missing out on the sun or are incorrectly wired, so have spoken to my installers for them to check, as I only get return values from 1 of the Pv output values.
